Staff Credentials
Alix Hall, Owner and Executive Director
Alix holds a B.A. and Masters Studies degrees
in Child Development. She lectures in the Education Departments
of local community
colleges, is a parent educator and author of "Child and Family
Issues".
Citrus Heights
Dana Ware, Director
Dana holds an A.A. in Liberal Studies, 8 years teaching experience and
2 years experience in a director capacity.
Downtown
Anniece Karr, Director
Holds an A.A. Degree in Child Development, 10 years experience
in Child Development with 8 years in a Diretor capacity.
Teaching Staff Credentials
Discovery Tree teachers hold
A.A. or B.A. Degrees in Child or Human Development and have a wide
variety of experience teaching.
Assistant Teachers in Discovery Tree's programs hold a minimum of 15 units
in Early Childhood Education, as well as extensive experience with children.
Staff are required to have current First Aid and CPR certificates. Staff is
encouraged to continue their education and, in some instances D.T. underwrites
the cost of courses, conferences, and seminars.
